It is a wetland area linked to a water spring, surrounded by citrus groves. It belongs to the marshland ecosystem and is a refuge for various species of marshland birds (coot and coot) and ducks, as well as herons.

The Ullal de les Penyetes is being refurbished so that we can enjoy the place whether we take part in the Route of the Senses or if we decide to spend the day. On arriving at the ullal, the arrangement of furniture such as tables and benches invites us to relax, and an adapted circuit has been prepared for people with reduced physical or sensory abilities, which has adapted information panels and plaques. This circuit ends in a historic orange orchard.
