9TH OCTOBER. Day of the Valencian Community.

This day commemorates the entry of King James I in 1238 in the city of Valencia.

In Tavernes, an institutional event is held in the plenary hall of the Town Hall on the afternoon of the 8th of October, where the cultural, associative and political sectors of the town meet to read some manifestos on the occasion of the festivity of all Valencians.

Various educational and craft workshops are held, mainly for children, as well as the traditional concert by the Tavernes de Valldigna Symphonic Band in its auditorium.
